Liner Swimming Pools
Liner pool walls can be built either using concrete walling blocks or bolt together panels made from either resin or galvanised steel or from timber panels (see timber pools section). A layer of lightweight foam can then be applied for both heat retention and to protect the liner from wear. The vinyl liners – available in different grades of thickness, are factory welded to accurate plans and provide an extremely attractive finish in countless designs in addition to being the waterproofing membrane. Alternatively: Onsite lining systems use a 1.5mm thick lining material, available in a choice of colours and patterns, which is welded into the swimming pool shell onsite. Onsite lining systems have a much longer life expectancy than standard factory made liners and can be used for longer at a much higher swimming pool water temperature. As with all methods of swimming pool construction, the pool filtration system and flow control are all important and must be sized correctly to ensure good water quality and ease of pool maintenance. Likewise, pool heating systems should be carefully sized and fitted by fully qualified engineers to ensure efficiency. Please note: Pools and Gardens Ltd will only construct swimming pools within approx a 40 mile radius of Droitwich. |

Liner pool construction is a more cost effective alternative than using the all concrete method, with the vinyl pool liner being the waterproofing membrane, therefore allowing the pool shell to be of a lighter build quality, but can give a similar and very attractive finished appearance to your swimming pool design.
