Building your own swimming pool is a major "self-build" project by anyone's standards. However, for someone with even basic DIY skills, it is not an impossibility. Once you have decided on the most suitable pool construction method for your particular project and site, you can then choose the perfect shape, size, depth and pool finish from a huge range of options. To make your pool even more exciting and inviting, you can add stunning features such as colour changing fibre optic lighting and automatic slide back safety covers. The options are endless.

TIMBER POOL KITS

Possibly the simplest method is a timber pool kit which can be installed either above ground, partly in ground or completely in ground. The wall structure is made with specially treated timber which gives a lovely, natural appearance in your garden. The water proof membrane is a vinyl liner with an attractive finish. These kits come with easy to follow plans, instructions and even instruction videos and are regarded as one of the easiest and most cost effective self build projects. BLOCK AND LINER POOL KITS

For those with more advanced building skills, a concrete block and liner swimming pool kit may be the answer, with all the swimming pool equipment, the liner, filtration and plumbing, coping stones, steps, diving boards, etc, included. PANEL AND LINER POOL KITS

Instead of building your pool walls with concrete blocks, a good and very fast alternative is to purchase a panel pool kit with the walling panels formed from either resin or galvanised steel. CONCRETE POOL KITS

The ideal pool kit for those with more advanced building skills! All specific swimming pool components, pool plans and build instructions come from your dedicated pool store, along with help and advice as you go.All building materials are purchased from your local builders merchants. ONE PIECE SWIMMING POOLS
